Fund an Eagle is an easy-to-use crowdfunding platform offered to help students cover the financial gap that may be a roadblock to attending Eastern University. Campaigns normally run for 30 to 60 days and all funds raised will be applied to their specific student account to help cover the cost of tuition, books, living arrangements and other educational costs.
How do I receive the funds raised?
Any contributions received through Fund an Eagle are automatically applied toward your outstanding balance on your student account.
Is my contribution tax-deductible?
No. Contributions through Fund an Eagle do not qualify as tax-deductible gifts since funding will go directly to support a specific student at Eastern University.
When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged as soon as you complete your contribution on the Fund an Eagle website.
Are there fees associated with making a contribution?
Yes. Contributions made via banking/savings accounts are subject to a $0.75 processing fee. Contributions made via credit/debit card are subject to a 2.5% processing fee.
